GRUSSWORT IAN HEWITT

I am delighted to welcome you to Tennisclub Weisenhof, Stuttgart, for the BOSS OPEN. There is much to look forward to at this year’s tournament. The player field features an array of Top 30 players in Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Matteo Berrettini and last year’s Wimbledon gentlemen’s singles finalist Nick Kyrgios.
Since the Stuttgart event’s transition from clay to grass, it can boast Grand Slam champions such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem and Marin Cilic on its honour roll. I wish all the players competing the best of luck as they hope to add their name to this illustrious list. A key focus of this year’s event is environmental sustainability, with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals used as a foundation for the initiatives.

The All England Club is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with e|motion. Their team has been working very hard to produce the finest quality grass courts, which will be invaluable for players in the build up to Wimbledon. For fans attending, I hope you enjoy the world-class tennis action in Stuttgart and have a memorable day at the BOSS OPEN.
