Dear Tennis Fans, a s Chairman of the ATP, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023 BOSS OPEN! This week is an opportunity to witness some of the world’s greatest players competing in one of the most special atmospheres on Tour.

We’re excited that you’ve decided to join us for the action. This outstanding ATP 250 event marks the beginning of the summer grass court season, a historic and unique part of our calendar. It’s exciting to see yet another star – studded player field welcomed at the Weissenhof, where players will be competing fiercely to get their campaigns off to a strong start.

With the summer season now in full swing, it is encouraging to reflect on the incredible entertainment that tennis off ers. This season kicked off with the brand – new United Cup – an innovative mixed team event that saw the top male and female players join forces to compete for their countries. Over the course of 11 months, the ATP Tour will span 30 global markets and build toward an incredible climax at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. This event is an important part of that story.

I would like to thank Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer and his dedicated team for their hard work ahead of this year’s BOSS OPEN , which sees the tournament continue its invaluable focus on environmental sustainability. We wish everyone involved a successful tournament and an entertaining week of action on court.
